On its 55th year – over half a century of operation as a leading non-life insurer in the Philippines – FGIC celebrated by being with children and by launching SMILE, a new product to bolster its roster of offerings for a worry-free future for the Filipino family.
Through its treat for the children and through its new product, FGIC looks to the future, determined to become the “insurer of choice” that secures the future by protecting Filipinos against threats to life, limbs, properties and well-being.
The treat for the kids, billed as “Araw ng Kalinga Para sa Batang Pasigueno,” was an outreach program, one of the many activities that carry out the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) trust. Held at the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral in Pasig City last June 19, a Saturday, it was conducted by FGen in coordination with the office of Congressman Roman T. Romulo, representative of the lone district, Pasig City and in partnership with the Soup Kitchen staff of the church, led by lay leader Millet Marcelo.
Michael F. Rellosa, FGen’s president and chief operating officer, and Josie M. Villegas, vice president for Human Resources and Administration, led the company officers and employees who took part in the activity.
